چکیده
Abstract Background Amino acid transporters (AATs) plays an essential roles in growth and development of plants, including amino acids long-range transport, seed germination, quality formation, responsiveness to pathogenic bacteria abiotic stress by modulating the transmembrane transfer acids. In this study, we performed a genome-wide screening analyze AAT genes foxtail millet ( Setaria italica L.), especially those associated with formation stresses response. Results A total number 94 were identified divided into 12 subfamilies their sequence characteristics phylogenetic relationship. large (58/94, 62%) expanded via gene duplication, involving 13 tandem segmental duplication events. Tandemly duplicated had significant impact on functional differentiation variation, structural variation expression variation. Further comparison multiple species showed that addition paralogous genes, variations orthologous also contributed differentiation. The transcriptomic two cultivars verified direct contribution such as SiAAP1 , SiAAP8 SiAUX2 grain quality. addition, qRT-PCR analysis suggested several continuously responded diverse stresses, SiATLb1 SiANT1 . Finally, combined previous studies patterns possible functions predicted. Conclusion This study for first time reported evolutionary features, differentiation, response family, thus providing framework further SiAAT contributing applications improving resistance millet, other cereal crops.

Grain Yield and Quality of Foxtail Millet (Setaria italica L.) in Response to Tribenuron-Methyl
Foxtail millet (Setaria italica L.) is cultivated around the world for human and animal consumption. There is no suitable herbicide available for weed control in foxtail millet fields during the post-emergence stage. In this study, we investigated the effect and safety of the post-emergence herbicide tribenuron-methyl (TBM) on foxtail millet in terms of grain yield and quality using a split-plo...

Objective: Fusarium diseases that cause grain mold and stalk rot of millet are the most important diseases, of these crops in Iran. Fusarium can cause stalk rots, ear rots, and grain mold, resulting in serious production losses in millet, and produce mycotoxins that are harmful to both humans and domesticated animals. Methods: A total of 23 Fusarium isolates were rec...

متن کاملGenome-Wide Investigation and Expression Analyses of WD40 Protein Family in the Model Plant Foxtail Millet (Setaria italica L.)
WD40 proteins play a crucial role in diverse protein-protein interactions by acting as scaffolding molecules and thus assisting in the proper activity of proteins. Hence, systematic characterization and expression profiling of these WD40 genes in foxtail millet would enable us to understand the networks of WD40 proteins and their biological processes and gene functions. In the present study, a ...
متن کاملPhytolith Analysis for Differentiating between Foxtail Millet (Setaria italica) and Green Foxtail (Setaria viridis)
Foxtail millet (Setaria italica) is one of the oldest domesticated cereal crops in Eurasia, but identifying foxtail millets, especially in charred grains, and differentiating it from its wild ancestor, green foxtail (Setaria viridis), in the archaeobotanical remains, is still problematic. Phytolithic analysis provides a meaningful method for identifying this important crop. In this paper, the s...
